Theo is an experienced investor and board member in high-growth tech businesses in emerging markets and manages Invenfin's tech focus alongside Pete. Having led investments including Bolt, LifeQ, Root, OfferZen and Float, he also played a leading role in the sale of Ad Dynamo and partial exit of Invenfin's stake in Bolt.

Before joining Invenfin, Theo helped establish and grow the Naspers/Prosus portfolio of Internet and e-commerce businesses in emerging markets across Africa, Middle East & South-East Asia. He started his career as one of the first engineers at a fabless semiconductor startup.

Theo holds an electrical & electronic engineering degree from University of Stellenbosch and an MBA (cum laude) from UCT's Graduate School of Business.
