Peter van der Zee

Investment Executive

Pete began his career as a software developer, business consultant, and later a tech entrepreneur. His first institutional investment in a South African start-up came in 2007. More than thirty investments later, he now manages Invenfin's tech focus alongside Theo.

Pete directly manages Invenfin's investments in Bolt, MoneyFellows, OfferZen, ArcAqua, and Wyzetalk, actively serving on boards and working closely with founders, executives, and co-investors. He also plays a key supporting role in Root, LifeQ, and Blue Robot.

Pete holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Honours in Information Systems) from the University of Cape Town, and an MBA (cum laude) from the Gordon Institute of Business Science.
